Hi y'all,
We're coming up on our third anniversary as a performing band, and we're all thrilled that we made it this far. We've had the privilege of opening up for the Pure Prairie League and the Bellamy Brothers at the Sellersville Theater, watching the dance floor fill up to "End Of The World" on New Years Eve at the Golden Nugget, playing a New Orleans benefit at World Cafe Live, and emptying water buckets from the stage during a downpour at the Country Palace. If you haven't seen us in a while, there are a couple of new faces on stage. Ken Mattison has joined us on guitar. Some of you may know him from his old gig as guitarist for "Sneakin' Around". He's playing great and has been remarkably patient with our constant requests to "learn this by Tuesday!" Also, Michael Salsburg has joined us on fiddle. He sat in with us here and there for a while, but when he started showing up at practice, we knew he'd be around for a while. He adds a lot to our sound and is even willing to play in keys he hates. We have a lot of gigs set up for the summer, so catch us if you can. We'll also be doing some recording over the next few months, and maybe we'll finally finish that CD we always say we're working on.
